One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is to go out to brunch. Even better, I love to set a pretty table at home and enjoy a long leisurely meal with friends or family.  We often drink mimosas and let the day slide away with sweet conversation, long walks to the park, or a swim in the sea.  This last weekend was our final one home until mid-August and so we decided to mark it with just this and I had the most fun setting up our spread with my new pastel pieces from Canvas Home.  They brought me right back to France and I love them all so much, I couldn’t help but mix and match and to celebrate all of the colors together at once!

I love the way that the soft pinks and blues blend together; these light hues make the vibrant fruits pop which is such fun to look at.  I also particularly enjoy these hand-glazed bowls which are great for little nibbles, half a grapefruit or even big, frothy cappuccino.   I suppose that I am as drawn to a visual feast as I am a literal one, and these pieces play together so well, it is a treat to have them as apart of our home collection.
