It was a dream of mine to set one long table in the barn at our rental house this year. We didn’t quite manage it with our crazy work schedule but, on our final evening, we set a table for just us (family) and made it extra cozy with candles and blankets with the door wide open and warm rain falling. I love how the Japanese ceramic plates catch the twinkly candlelight and even though it’s not an obvious match, the etched glass (antique) serves to soften the glow even further!
