I love holidays (who doesn’t?). I know that we’re still pre-thanksgiving but a dear friend sent me my favorite Christmas candle and I am already in the mood. The weather is chillier and grey here and we’re enjoying cozy evenings at home by the make-shift fire. I was thrilled to ship out a few large pieces from our Caribbean series this week and of course, I am so grateful for the charitable contributions. As a reminder, we’re still donating 100% of our net proceeds to hurricane relief in the Caribbean until the end of hurricane season, November 30th.

We printed this piece for our home and I was thrilled to hang it pride of place above the fireplace. Believe it or not, it’s surprisingly neutral considering it’s vibrant tones. The depth of the image is amazing and the framer we are working with is top-notch. I am excited to introduce custom framing with linen matting shortly — but do e-mail in if interested!

I know that I promised an end of season wedding round up but I have been waiting because the last wedding we photographed was in New York with my dear old friend Harley (who’s dress I wore here) and will be debuting on Vogue.com soon. Her mother was so generous to send us a box of gardenias this week as a thank you — it was the MOST lovely surprise and such a luxurious present. Gardenias are one of my favorite flower and scents and these made the whole house smell incredible! This box of gardenias is now top of my list for holiday presents; it’s the perfect thank you or thinking of you gesture and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

And of course, last but not least, my FAVORITE candle-line Feu De Beaumont with these amazing long matches in the beautiful painted tin box makes such a chic and easy present to give.  Jasmine is my favorite scent although I have yet to order the Gardenia and know that I would love it!  I like to keep lots of these in the present cupboard for last minute gifts but you can get them monogramed or inscribed for a more personal touch. They come from England and are so worth the shipment — stock up!!   I also love the diffuser and finds that it lasts for ages!!
