We hosted Easter weekend this year with my (freshly vaccinated) father, step-mother and siblings! It was so nice to entertain again, outside and to make a big meal for everybody to enjoy and eat in the sunshine. We set the table for Friday evening and had Sunday lunch followed by an easter egg hunt and all the candy we could possibly handle!
I lay this table with one of my favorite Amanda Lindroth tablecloths with the blue and white placemats we had in the holiday shop (which will re-appear in our basics section shortly), etched hurricanes with yellow tapers, tea lights and spring bouquet of lilac, clematis, ranunculus, and daisies.
For lunch we made (from scratch): halloumi and crudités, a quiche, focaccia, a big green salad, orzo with peas mint and feta plus a local ham. We also made lemon cakes with raspberries and fresh whipped cream. It was a feast and we enjoyed it for nearly a week afterwards!
