We had a whirlwind first week with a large group — 12 at its peak — and have been winding down with two days of work catch up just family at the house.   We have a new group arriving this evening, my best friends from University and one of them is bringing a six month old baby (from California no less); needless to say, we are so thrilled to have them.   Because it has been unseasonably rainy (I have never seen it rain here until this trip), we are delayed opening the pool, all the more reason to get out to the beach or to explore a new town.  It will be nice to be pushed from the sleepy routine of rolling out of bed straight to the pool via the croissants in the kitchen — there is so much to see and do here and we hope to take advantage this week.   In the meantime, here are some shots from a town that you have already seen but because of the funny weather, the cycle of the flowers is also off which means the whole town is covered in beautiful, fragrant Jasmine which we usually just miss — so lovely to see it!    The town is also crawling in friendly, fluffy cats… a highlight for me !

Despite the cooler weather, we have still been living in our summer clothes and these shorts are such an easy go to for me — wear them exploring, to the beach or even to dinner.  They are on sale now and I absolutely adore them! xx
