I’m so glad we finally installed this runner down our steps — you can see the stairs right as you walk into our house and has instantly softened up the first glimpse into our home, and made it all feel much more cozy! We selected this pattern from Annie Selke — my goodness I wish we had scotch guarded it first, so do that if you’re going for a light pattern like this!
It’s really easy to work with this type of fabric (cotton), I would say that installing a sea grass runner might be more finicky because I imagine it would be quite stiff vs. this fabric which was easy to manipulate.
Installing it is really easy, it just requires a feel speciality tools like the pneumatic staple gun which is intimidating at first but actually quite fun to use! I believe you can rent it from Lowes.
