Flowers of Hampton Park

February 23, 2018

It’s been a while since we visited Hampton Park, our local beautiful garden.   Only a few trips ago, it was covered in snow — hard to believe.   I walked through this park nearly every day of my pregnancy, and every evening afterwards with the baby strapped on until he got too big.  I’m always amazed by how beautiful it is, my friend says it’s the best keep secret in the city.  The park isn’t even in full bloom but still so lush.   It felt nice just to be out with the mission of finding the good light.   I took about ten thousand pictures of the flowers but here are some favorites:

We are gearing up for my mother’s arrival this afternoon, she in town through mid next week and I am so excited to have her.   I stayed with her in New York on Monday night but hardly had a chance to catch up as I spent Monday and Tuesday filming with Stacy from Hampden clothing.  I have been working on a project about her, and it’s fun to play the role of creative director and to learn so much more about someone else’s process.

This is the first time I have worn this skirt, it’s a very old Club Monaco piece of my mom’s — perfect for this time of year.  I have found a few similar below and am always a fan of an all white ensemble, I think it’s easy and elegant. xx
