I had forgotten the spectacular beauty of the beach in Southampton.   We have made a habit of walking the baby to sleep in the evening.  He has been learning to walk while we are here and I think the milestone has disrupted his sleep a bit — regardless, long walks with baby strapped on seem our only option these days and luckily we have this wonderful place to wander down to.  Every night has greeted us with different shades of silver, pink, purple and blue.  Tonight’s mist and purple sunset was otherworldly.  I can’t wait to come back to shoot this beach on film.

We’re heading back home to Charleston tomorrow before turning right back around to Charlottesville for a wedding this weekend. If you have any local recommendations, we’re all ears — it will be our first visit and I’m so excited!
